Dear Students,
We invite you to take part in the Polish language course organized by the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz.
This course gives you the opportunity to master the initial level of the Polish language both in everyday life and in official situations. You will acquire a vocabulary that allows you to adapt to a new environment, start training or find work in Poland.
Course programme:
• Writing short official and unofficial texts;
• Exercises for understanding oral and written texts;
• Learning the basics of vocabulary, grammar, spelling and punctuation;
• Acquaintance with basic information about culture (cinema, theater, music, contemporary art), literature, history of Poland and the city of Lodz.
Additional activity for those interested - excursions organized by the university:
• Museum of the City of Lodz,
• Museum of Art in Lodz,
• Visiting the cinema - watching films in Polish,
• Excursion "Following the footsteps of ancient Lodz",
• Visiting shops, post offices, banks - course participants apply the acquired knowledge in practice.

Course Outlines:
- 13 lectures that describe the actions and situations of everyday life. Materials for studying the Polish language are attached to each lecture: audio files, illustrations, vocabulary, exercises and tests;

- Webinars (60 lecture hours), conducted by the teacher twice a week for 1-1.5 hours. Includes 40 hours of teaching of grammatical foundations of the Polish language, and 20 hours of practical exercises on the topic of "Modern Polish culture".
- Students will receive a certificate confirming the completion of the course.

1. After enrolling in the course, the participant receives a login and password to the distance learning platform, which makes all the study materials accessible to the student.

3. During the course, the teachers communicate with the participants through webinars (real-time video conferences in the hours set with the group), forum.
4. Teachers also check the performance of the participants with the help of tests, exercises and assignments, which they assign during the course.
5. The course ends with an online exam.
6. After passing the exam, the participant receives a certificate from the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz.
