ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Civitas University is a leading private university located at the very center of Warsaw. The university was founded in 1997 under the patronage of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Institute of Physiology and Sociology; Institute of History; Institute of Political Sciences; Institute of Arts and the Institute of Slavic Studies. The status of a non-profit organization allows keeping tuition fees at an acceptable level.
Civitas University is a modern university with an international character and a multicultural environment, attractive to students and highly appreciated by employers, would be a good choice for studying in Poland. The best quality of education at the University has been repeatedly confirmed by high positions in national ratings. For example, Civitas University ranked first in the Wprost weekly ranking seven times. In 2015, in the nomination “Internationalization of Universities”, Civitas took the third place among all Polish universities in the “Perspektyw” rating.
The university is accredited by the National Accreditation Commission and the University Accreditation Commission. The university is proud of its education quality certificates such as: the Kingston University London Certificate, Trustworthy University Certificate and Certificate of University of Leaders 2011.
Civitas University is the first higher education institution in Poland to introduce undergraduate and graduate studies in English in the field of international relations and political science. The university offers about 40 study programs taught in Polish, English, bilingual programs that meet the most modern requirements.
A feature of the University is an individual approach to each student, which is confirmed by the following facts: about 300 subjects to choose from, classes in small groups, personal contact with representatives of the Polish intellectual elite, practical tasks led by professionals.
Education at the University takes place in small classrooms equipped with the latest technology. During classes, teachers use projectors to display multimedia presentations and videos. In addition, students have Internet access to lecture materials, presentations and online registration for courses.
